Karl Lagerfeld, one of the most celebrated fashion designers, has passed away in Paris, France. He was 85. The German born designer, who led the creative team at Chanel, was one of the most prolific figures in the fashion industry.

Born as Karl Otto Lagerfeld, he was also the creative director of the Italian fur and leather goods fashion house Fendi and his eponymous label. Over the decades, Karl has collaborated on various fashion and art-related projects. He was well recognized around the world for his white hair, black sunglasses, fingerless gloves, and high starched collars.
