Actor-producer Anushka Sharma has acquired a minority stake in Agilitas Sports, further deepening the association between the fast-growing sportswear company and India’s most influential celebrity couple. The investment follows cricketer Virat Kohli’s entry into Agilitas as an investor and strategic partner last year. Founded by a team of former Puma India leaders, Agilitas is rapidly building its presence across sports footwear, apparel and athleisure categories.
Beyond her financial investment, Sharma will play a key role in shaping and expanding the yoga and wellness apparel segment under the One8 brand, which has emerged as a cornerstone of Agilitas’ growth strategy. Kohli had joined Agilitas in 2025 after ending his eight-year association with global sportswear giant Puma. The partnership included the transfer of the One8 brand to Agilitas, giving the company ownership of one of India’s most recognized sports lifestyle labels. Industry sources had then estimated Kohli’s investment at around ₹40 crore.
Sharma’s entry adds fresh momentum to Agilitas’ ambitions of creating a home-grown sportswear powerhouse. With the combined influence of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, the company is positioning itself at the intersection of sport, fitness, wellness and lifestyle segments that continue to witness robust consumer demand in India. The move also reflects the growing trend of celebrities evolving from brand ambassadors to equity partners, aligning their personal brands with long-term business value creation.
