Metro Brands Ltd. has expanded Foot Locker’s presence in India with a new store at Platinum Avenue, Linking Road, Khar West, Mumbai.
This marks the latest step in Foot Locker’s India journey, which began with its omnichannel debut in October 2024. Metro Brands operates the physical stores, while Nykaa Fashion manages e-commerce through dedicated platforms and shop-in-shop experiences. The Mumbai outlet offers Foot Locker’s refreshed retail concept, featuring community spaces, interactive product zones, and a “Sneaker Hub” for personalised customisation. Shoppers can explore collections from Nike, Jordan Brand, adidas, PUMA, New Balance, Fila, New Era, and more.
The two-level store spans over 5,000 sq. ft., with men’s footwear and apparel on the ground floor, and women’s, kids’ collections, accessories, and customisation services upstairs. Foot Locker’s trained “Stripers” will provide product expertise and host in-store events to engage the city’s growing sneaker community. Nykaa Fashion’s digital integration aims to mirror the in-store experience, ensuring sneaker fans nationwide can access global styles anytime.
As of December 31, 2024, Metro Brands operated 895 stores across 203 cities in 31 states and union territories, retailing both its own labels and leading global footwear brands.
