Shri Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the extra capability of 1 million litre a day and Zero Liquid Discharge system of the Common Effluent Treatment Plant at Ranipet.

Without MSME, we can’t achieve the objective of Atmanirhbar Bharat, which is the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” stated Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways and MSME.” He added, “ The MSME Ministry within the subsequent 5 years plans to enhance the sector’s contribution to GDP from 30 to 40 per cent and exports to 60 per cent from 48 per cent. It plans to enhance the variety of jobs generated within the sector by one other 5 crore from 11 crore at present.”
The minister urged the leather-based trade to contribute to achieve this objective. “To achieve the objective of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, it will be significant to create more employment alternatives.” He said. He additionally urged the trade to create more auxiliary industries in rural areas to encourage younger entrepreneurs and create more jobs to reverse the development of rural inhabitants migrating to cities. While thanking the Council of Leather Exports and Central Leather Research Institute, he urged the institutions to encourage the leather- based trade clusters in different components of the nation additionally to undertake such eco-friendly practices in order to cut back the environmental pollution generated by the leather-based sector.
