Luxury men’s brand LV XII has tapped Jason Derulo as a brand ambassador and investor. The singer is teaming up with his manager Frank Harris and designer Antonio Brown on the collection, which will make its official debut during New York Fashion Week: Men’s in July. Derulo was brought on board following a multimillion-dollar deal.
On first sight, the offering is focused on updated classics. The styles — which are all made in Italy — include tri-colored leather boots, ponyhair zip-front sneakers and laser-cut oxfords.
LVL XII is based in Atlanta and New York, and its shoes are sold in retailers such as Fred Segal and Gregory’s.
Brands are increasingly hiring celebrities as ambassadors. We’ve seen a variety of partnerships this past year, among them Gigi Hadid for Tommy Hilfiger and Sarah Hyland for Candie’s.
